Following the official launch of Galaxy S 4 on the Australian market, various wireless carriers there confirmed plans to add it to their offerings, and Telstra has already kicked off the pre-order period for it.

The handset is currently up for reservations on the wireless carrier’s website, and should start shipping to users as soon as May 2, Ausdroid reports.

The handset is also set to become available for purchase through the company’s retail stores on Saturday, April 27, though not all locations will have units to sell. Galaxy S 4 is priced at $816 AUD ($842 USD / 645 Euro) outright.

“Samsung’s highly anticipated GALAXY S 4 will be available in select Telstra Stores on the 27th of April. With very limited number of handsets available in stores only, you’ll have to be quick to get yourself one of the year’s most anticipated phones,” the carrier announced.
