At the end of October, South Korean mobile phone maker Samsung went official with Galaxy Premier, a new mid-range device running under the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system.

The handset is expected to arrive on shelves in China in the not too distant future, and it has already been approved for use in the country, it seems.

The phone should land on China Mobile’s network with model number GT-I9268 next to it but with the same features and specs as the international version.

It will hit shelves with a 4.65-inch HD AMOLED screen, a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB / 16GB of internal memory, 32GB microSD card slot, an 8-megapixel camera on the back, 2100mAh battery inside, and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean loaded on it from the start.
