The first details on the unannounced Galaxy Pocket Plus leaked more than a month ago, but we did not have any info on the smartphone’s upcoming release.

Well, it appears that the folks over at SamMobile have just received a picture of the budget-friendly Android phone, which is expected to make its debut in Europe in the first half of the year.

There is nothing impressive about Galaxy Pocket Plus’ specs sheet as the phone is said to ship with Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system onboard.

Furthermore, the device packs a single-core BCM21654 processor clocked at 850 MHz, 4GB of internal memory, microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB), 2-megapixel rear camera, 2.8-inch QVGA capacitive touchscreen display and 1200 mAh Li-Ion battery.

According to SamMobile, the smartphone will be available in Latin America as well but under a different codename, GT-S5301L.
