South Korean mobile phone maker Samsung Electronics has been long rumored to plan the launch of a new smartphone in the popular Galaxy Note series, and some more confirmation on the matter is now available.

The handset, supposedly called Galaxy Note III and said to sport model number SM-N900, has already received the necessary certification in Indonesia, Blog of Mobile reports, although no specific info on what it might include in terms of hardware has been provided.

The smartphone should become official in September during the IFA 2013 event in Berlin, rumor has it. Furthermore, Samsung is expected to launch several flavors of the handset, so stay tuned to learn more on the matter.
