Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet was launched back in August with Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system onboard.

Although the South Korean company confirmed that a Jelly Bean update would be available for Galaxy Note 10.1 at some point, no timeframe was given for its release.

Well, it appears that the time has come for Galaxy Note 10.1 owners to upgrade their tablets to Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean (build JZO54K).

The rollout of the Jelly Bean update started in Europe back in November, and more recently, the upgrade has been deployed in India.

Today, the folks over at AndroidPolice report that the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update for Galaxy Note 10.1 is available for download in the United States.

For the time being, the update is pushed OTA (over the air) to Wi-Fi models, but it should be available via Samsung Kies desktop software as well.
