More rumors regarding the unannounced Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 continue to leak online. The newest information points to a quad-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz and an 8-megapixel main camera on the back.

Leaked via GSMArena, these specs do not seem to match previous rumors, so take it with a grain of salt until Samsung comes forward with an official announcement.

Anyway, according the latest hearsay on the Galaxy Mega 2, the phablet should sport a 6-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (720p) resolution.

In addition, the smartphone is said to pack 1.5GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory and microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 64GB).

Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 will ship with Android 4.4 KitKat operating system out of the box and it will feature a 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera.

The phablet will come with support for LTE connectivity and VoLTE, as well as a high-capacity 2,800 mAh battery. Other specs confirmed in the image leaked include FM Radio, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS with A-GPS and GLONASS.

As expected, the Galaxy Mega 2 does not seem to pack fingerprint scanner and heart rate monitor, in order to keep the costs for the phablet low.
