Before the end of this year, South Korean mobile phone maker Samsung Electronics is expected to bring to the market a premium smartphone running under the Android operating system, and the device appears to have just received the necessary approvals from the Bluetooth SIG.

Rumored to arrive on shelves under the name of Samsung Galaxy F, the handset has emerged at the Bluetooth SIG with model number SM-G901F attached to it.

For those out of the loop, we should note that the Samsung Galaxy S5 was released with model number G900x attached to it, and that the new device could be a flavor of this handset.

However, as GSMArena notes, we should not forget that the new phone sports model number G901F, which suggests that it could also mean that it is a brand-new device.

Should this be the aforementioned Galaxy F handset, we’ll see it released with a Quad HD touchscreen display, a Snapdragon 805 processor, 3GB of RAM, and a 16MP or higher camera on the back.

Interestingly enough, a certain Samsung Galaxy F Alpha smartphone has also been spotted, with a 4.7-inch full HD screen, an Exynos 5 Octa chipset, and a 12-megapixel camera on the back.

With no official confirmation on the mobile phone available as of now, we should take the info above with a grain of salt. Hopefully, more on this will emerge soon, so stay tuned.
