The handset sports a 5MP camera with full HD video recording

A new Android-based smartphone from Samsung is now official in the Galaxy Core series, namely the Samsung Galaxy Core LTE, which should arrive in some markets out there under the name of Galaxy Core 4G.

The phone will arrive on the market in Black and White versions with a 4.5-inch qHD (960 x 540) screen, while featuring a 1.2GHz dual-core processor inside and 1GB of RAM.

Moreover, it is said to pack 8GB of internal memory, a microSD memory card slot with support for up to 64GB of additional storage, and a 2100 mAh battery.

The handset also features a 5-megapixel camera on the back, with full HD video recording capabilities, along with a front camera for video calling. It also sports 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA, Bluetooth 4.0, and NFC connectivity capabilities.

Galaxy Core LTE arrives on shelves with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean loaded on top, and it should be launched in Europe and various Asian markets.
