The smartphone will be available for €325/$420 outright

Unveiled a few days ahead of Mobile World Congress 2013, back in February, Samsung Galaxy Xcover 2 has been confirmed to hit shelves in Finland on March 7.

According to EsPhoneBlog, the Galaxy Xcover 2 will be available for purchase via major retailer Gigantti for around €325/$420 off contract. Check it out here.

Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy Xcover 2 in other European countries this month, including the UK. There are no details on price tag and availability in other regions for the moment, but stay tuned.

The Galaxy Xcover 2 is a rugged Android smartphone that will ship with a 1GHz dual-core processor inside, along with 1GB of RAM and 4GB of internal memory.

The smartphone is powered by Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system and sports a 4-inch WVGA capacitive touchscreen display that features scratch-resistant glass coating.
