The slate will ship with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich platform

Shortly after releasing the Samsung Galaxy Note II, T-Mobile announced the upcoming availability of the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 tablet.

The folks over at TmoNews have just learned that the carrier plans to launch the slate “in the coming weeks.” Unfortunately, there are no details on the tablet’s pricing options yet, but T-Mobile mentions in an official statement that more information will be available soon.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 will ship with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system out of the box and full support for T-Mobile’s HSPA+ (42Mbps) network.

The tablet is equipped with a dual-core processor clocked at 1.5 GHz, 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD memory card. Stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
