The Galaxy S III is already widely available in Canada at almost all the carriers in the country. Bell, Rogers, TELUS, MTS, Koodo Mobile, WIND and others have been offering the smartphone for quite some time now.

Fido is one of the few carriers, if not the only one, that has yet to add the Samsung Galaxy S III to its portfolio. However, this is about to change in the following weeks when the operator is said to launch the smartphone.

The folks over at MobileSyrup have just been tipped on the upcoming release of the Galaxy S III at Fido, but there are no details regarding the phone’s pricing options.

On a side note, Fido’s ad claims the Samsung Galaxy S III 16GB will ship with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system out of the box, though a Jelly Bean update is already available for download.
