It looks like Samsung has started the rollout of a minor update for its Galaxy Note II phablet. The update is deployed globally and today it has reached India.

According to AndroidOS, a 50MB update is now available for Samsung Galaxy Note II users in India. The update is pushed OTA (over-the-air) in waves, so not all Galaxy Note II owners might get it at the same time.

The official changelog mentions the maintenance update brings some stability improvements, but no additional details have been provided.

Furthermore, the new iteration is also expected to include a fix for the lock screen bypass issue that has been discovered some time ago.

Keep in mind that software update build number XXDMC3 can be manually downloaded by going to Settings / About phone / Software update / Update.
