South Korean mobile phone maker Samsung is gearing up for the launch of new devices running under Google’s Android operating system, and one of them appears to have already received the necessary approvals from the Bluetooth SIG.

Spotted at the certification forum as Samsung SHV-E310K, the smartphone is said to be none other than the GALAXY Mega 6.3 handset that Samsung made official only a few weeks ago.

The handset was approved with Bluetooth 4.0 inside, while set to hit shelves with a 6.3-inch touchscreen display, a 1.7GHz dual-core processor and 1.5GB of RAM, as well as 8GB / 16GB of internal memory.

Furthermore, the smartphone packs an 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back, along with a 1.9MP front camera, LTE connectivity, a 3200 mAh Li-Ion battery inside, and Google’s Android 4.2 Jelly Bean platform loaded on top.
