Samsung and US Cellular launched the Galaxy Axiom in the United States back in November 2012 with Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system out of the box.

Five months since its official release, the Galaxy Axion receives a major update to Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean platform.

According to SamMobile, build JZO54K is now available for download OTA (over the air) or via Samsung Kies desktop software.

Keep in mind that this Jelly Bean update is pushed in waves, which means that it might not be available to all Samsung Galaxy Axiom owners at the same time.

We recommend users to download the update while connected to a reliable Wi-Fi network or via USB cable. Make sure the smartphone’s battery is fully charged as well and back up all sensitive data.
