Beware as the update seems to be plagued by several issues

Samsung Galaxy S II has already received the long-awaited Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade in most regions of the world.

However, US-based carrier Sprint seems to be among the last to offer its customers this update. Known as Samsung Epic 4G Touch, Sprint’s version of Galaxy S II is now eligible for Ice Cream Sandwich.

According to Phandroid, the update is now pushed OTA (over the air) in stages, so not all Galaxy Epic 4G Touch owners will receive it at the same time.

Unfortunately, some users have already reported some issues with the phone after updating, as well as terrible battery, so you might want to wait a bit more before upgrading to Ice Cream Sandwich.

Keep in mind that this is the same IMM76I.FF18 build that leaked online a while ago, so head over to Settings / About phone / Software update in order to manually check for the update.
