Samsung Confirms Smartphone with Curved Screen for Next Week

Next week, Samsung will make official its first smartphone to arrive on shelves with a curved screen, the company’s CEO reportedly confirmed.

The handset vendor has been rumored before to plan the launch of such a device before the end of this month, and a more clear release date for it is now available.

According to UnwiredView, Samsung could announce the handset as a limited edition flavor of Galaxy Note 3, just as previous rumors on the matter suggested.

Also this month, LG Electronics is expected to unveil its own handset with a curved screen, which could go by the name of LG Z.
