South Korean mobile phone maker Samsung will provide some of its users with an update to the newest flavor of Google’s mobile operating system, namely Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, but it has yet to name any of the devices set to receive it.

The new platform flavor, made official yesterday, is known to arrive on the Galaxy S4 Google Edition, but no info on what other handsets and tablets in the company’s lineup will receive it has been officially provided as of now.

“Samsung UK will confirm upgrade plans to Android 4.3 to selected Galaxy devices in the coming months,” Samsung UK reportedly told TechRadar.

Some of the previous rumors on the matter suggested that the company was planning the release of this update for Galaxy S III, Galaxy Note II, Galaxy S4, and other new handsets to the Galaxy family, and that it was even considering skipping Android 4.2.2 altogether.
