Canadian Samsung Galaxy S III users will soon be able to enjoy new features and capabilities on their devices, as the South Korean mobile phone maker has confirmed the upcoming availability of Android 4.1 Jelly Bean for their devices come Monday, December 3.

The company took it to Twitter to announce its plans for the update, yet it did not offer further details on the matter (such as the specific operating system flavor that will be delivered to users) .

“Jelly Bean starts rolling out to GALAXY S III owners over-the-air Monday. Stay tuned for more Jelly Bean announcements soon,” the company said in a tweet.

No info on when the Jelly Bean upgrade will arrive on Galaxy Note and Galaxy S II devices has been unveiled, but Samsung appears set to announce such details pretty soon.
