Samsung’s Galaxy S 4 was expected to prove a big hit even since before it was officially announced, and the first sales figures for it appear to confirm that, although they are not official numbers from the company.

Apparently, a Samsung exec has already unveiled that the company had managed to ship 4 million Galaxy S 4 units in April, in only four days of availability, at least this is what Korea’s ChosunIlbo reports.

Furthermore, said Samsung employee also let it slip that over 6 million Galaxy S 4 devices had been shipped by May 10, and that the company is confident that it will manage to sell over 10 million units before the end of this month.

Provided that these numbers are real, Galaxy S 4 has already become the fastest selling smartphone in Samsung’s Galaxy S lineup. Stay tuned for more on this.
