The company should roll out the update to Android users first

South Korean mobile phone maker Samsung might be set to add some more functionality to its ChatOn service that is currently available on a variety of platforms out there.

Rumor has it that the company is considering the addition of video calling capabilities over 3G and 4G networks, and that support for WiFi connectivity could also be included into the mix.

Nothing has been officially confirmed on the matter for the time being, but DDaily claims that Samsung could enhance its service this way, so as to better compete against rival solutions.

Moreover, the news site says that Android users will be those to taste the improvement first, and that other platforms will receive it only after that.

Samsung reportedly has to decide whether it would load the service on its own devices; however, this could happen soon, it seems.
