Samsung is expected to launch the Ativ S in Canada before the end of the month through Rogers, Bell, SaskTel and TELUS.
Rogers already confirmed it would offer the Samsung Ativ S for as low as $130/€100 with new three-year agreements, but neither carrier announced the no-term price of the smartphone.
Luckily, the folks over at MobileSyrup have just learned Bell Mobility will launch the Samsung Ativ S for $600/€470 off-contract.
The information comes via Canadian outlet The Source and is likely to be confirmed by Bell, TELUS, Rogers and SaskTel as well.
The Ativ S is the only Windows Phone 8 handset launched by Samsung this year and seems to be the only smartphone that could possibly compete with Nokia’s Lumia 920.
The device comes with a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM and 16GB/32GB of storage, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card slot. It also sports a 4.8-inch Super AMOLED HD display and an 8-megapixel rear camera.
