We all know that Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia is gearing up for the release of a tablet PC that would run under Microsoft’s Windows 8 platform, though no specific details on it have emerged so far, at least not officially.

However, what appears to be the first leaked photo with the device allegedly made an appearance online on WPDang.com.

Running under the Windows 8 platform, the tablet PC should be made by Compal, and will pack a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, and a 10-inch touchscreen display.

The gadget might arrive on shelves as Nokia Lumia Tab, Lumia Pad or another similar name, and might look just as in the image above.

For the time being, however, we’ll take the possibility that this is the actual device with a grain of salt. After all, it might prove to be nothing more than the product of an enthusiast’s imagination.
