Rovio's New “Angry Birds Space” Launching in March

The game will be launched on both iOS and Android platforms

The fourth installment in the Angry Birds series of games will be called “Angry Birds Space.” Rovio, the team behind the amazingly popular Angry Birds franchise confirmed that the next game in the series will be released on March 22.

Andrew Stalbow, GM of Rovio North America, told Yahoo! Games that “Angry Birds Space” will have new birds with various super powers. Most of the original birds will appear in the newest installment of the series as well.

Players will experience zero gravity gameplay, along with slow-motion and lightspeed destruction new features. While most of the new features have yet to be revealed Rovio confirmed plans to release the product in mobile gaming, animations channels and retail, at the same time.

The developers also stated that more details on the upcoming game, which is Rovio's biggest launch since the original, will be revealed in the coming weeks.
