HTC kicked off the rollout of the Jelly Bean update for One X since last month, but Rogers’ customers were left out from the initial deployment.

It appears that HTC decided to make the upgrade available to unlocked One X devices at first, so those with carrier-bounded smartphones had to wait a few more weeks.

Today, MobileSyrup reports the Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean update for HTC One X is available for download OTA (over the air), in stages.

Although not all Rogers HTC One X owners might receive it at the same time, we can safely assume all devices will get the Jelly Bean upgrade by the end of the month.

In order to manually push the Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean update to their HTC One X smartphones, users only need to go to Settings / About phone / System software updates / Check now.
