Canadian carrier Rogers is about to launch the rugged Cat B15 Android smartphone. Although we're not sure when that will happen, we have some details on the handset's price tag.

According to MobileSyrup, Caterpillar B15 will be available for purchase at Rogers for around $300 (€215) off contract. Additional pricing options are unavailable for the moment, so there's no telling whether or not the Cat B15 will be offered for free on 2-year agreements.

Cat B15 is not a new device, but it's the latest launched by Caterpillar. It comes with a 1GHz dual-core MediaTek MT6577 processor, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal memory and microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).

The phone has been IP67 certified, enabling immersions in 1 meter of water up to 30 minutes. It is also worth mentioning that Cat B15 can withstand a 1.8-meter drop.
