Motorola has already offered the promised Android 4.4 KitKat update for Moto X in the United States, but some Canadians are still waiting to upgrade their devices.

Those who purchased the Motorola Moto X through Rogers will be pleased to know they won't have to wait too long for the update, as the carrier confirmed it will be available soon.

As MobileSyrup reports, Rogers has just updated its “OS Upgrades” schedule posted on the support site and Motorola Moto X shows up as receiving Android 4.4 KitKat “soon.”

Along with Rogers' Moto X, it's more likely that Fido's variant will receive the Android 4.4 KitKat update as well. Although there's no telling when exactly the rollout will be begin, at least we know it's coming.

In the same piece of news, Rogers also confirmed the HTC One mini will receive the Android 4.4 KitKat update in late February, while the HTC One is set to get the same upgrade in late January.
