Canadian carrier Rogers has just updated its OS upgrades scheduler and things are looking good for LG fans. It appears that the Optimus G is on track for a late March Android 4.1 Jelly Bean upgrade.
Currently, LG Optimus G ships with Jell Bean platform out of the box, but the phone was initially launched with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system onboard.
On a side note, Sprint has just kicked off the rollout of the Jelly Bean upgrade for LG Optimus G, which is expected to end in a few weeks.
In related news, MobileSyrup reports Samsung Galaxy Note owners will have to wait a bit longer as Rogers states the promised Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update is “pending software submission from device manufacturer.” Stay tuned for more info on the matter.
