Several weeks ago, Mountain View-based Internet giant Google officially announced a new version of its Google Play Store application for Android smartphones, and it seems that it has finally started to push it out to users in India.

The app arrives on smartphones and tablet PCs as version 4.0.27, providing users with a redesigned interface and a new way to find apps and other content that they are looking for.

As AndroidOS notes, the new app flavor has already landed on devices in the United States and other countries, but it was also found to sport a series of bugs that have been resolved in subsequent releases.

The new version of the Google Play Store will offer larger images, a new way to group content (so that users would find what they are looking for faster), improved recommendations, and more.
