Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia has been rumored a few times before to plan the release of a Red flavor of the Nokia Lumia 1020 smartphone, and it seems that it might not be too long before the handset goes official.

According to a recent article on windowsblogitalia, the red variant of Lumia 1020 has emerged in Navifirm, although it hasn’t been officially confirmed as of now.

Shortly after the 41-megapixel smartphone was officially announced, rumors on the upcoming availability of the Red variant over at AT&T started to emerge, yet the handset is nowhere to be seen at the moment.

However, mynokiablog suggests that the appearance of the Windows Phone 8 device in Navifirm could point at an impending international release.

Unfortunately, no specific info on when the new mobile phone flavor could become available has been provided, but stay tuned for more on the matter.
