Creators of Skype have just announced that the Android client of their music service Rdio has just been updated with a new user interface and new features.

The application has been entirely redesigned to offer easier navigation and one-click access to features available on other version of Rdio for Android.

New enhancements and features have been included as well, such as collection, playlists, new releases, top charts, recommendations, and support for Google’s latest Ice Cream Sandwich new remote control client.

In addition, users will be able to filter music by what they have synced for offline listening. With the new version of Rdio, users will be able to search for Playlists and People.

Rdio 2.0 will soon be available as a free download from the Android Market in the US, Canada, Brazil, Germany, Australia and New Zealand. However, users require a Rdio Unlimited subscription in order to be able to access Rdio on mobile devices.
