Rdio, the music streaming service that charges users $9.9 monthly for unlimited mobile listening, has just announced the addition of a new feature that will allow Android users to listen to their favorite music for free.

The latest update brings free Stations and unlimited listening for Android users in US, Canada and Australia. The new service does not require any type of subscription and it’s completely free.

Developers have also introduced a new feature called Station Sharing, which allows Rdio users who find a station that their friends would love to share it on Facebook, Twitter or with any friend on Rdio directly from within the app.

With the latest version of Rdio, users will be able to start stations based on any album or playlist, in addition to ten other station types. Last but not least, multiple UI improvements and minor bug fixes have been included in the update.
