BlackBerry 10, Research In Motion’s next mobile operating system flavor, will go official on January 30 next year, but devices running under it have already been spotted live.

The company’s CEO Thorsten Heins is using one of them, and he has brought it to an NBA basketball game on November 16, BBin reports. This is the first time BlackBerry 10 makes an appearance at such a gathering.

RIM’s Senior Vice President, Software Product Management, Andrew Bocking was also there, and he also had a similar device in his hands. Both officials were using the Time Shift camera app on BlackBerry 10 OS to capture moments of the game.

On January 30, 2013, RIM will unveil the first two smartphones to run under the new platform version, and chances are that they will closely resemble those spotted this weekend.
