Well-known smartphone chipset maker Qualcomm has just released an interesting application for Android devices, Snapdragon Glance.

According to Qualcomm, Snapdragon Glance is “an intelligent lock screen application, which makes it easy for you to quickly access the information you need.”

The application will launch each time users turn on their smartphones' screen. They will be able to use the app's features at first glance, such as notifications, weather, contacts and important applications.

Keep in mind though that Snapdragon Glance require users to install Snapdragon BatteryGuru app, as the former users info learnt by the later to interpret user's behaviour.

You can now download Snapdragon Glance for Android 1.0.1 for free via Google Play Store. The application should be compatible with most devices powered by Android 2.3 and up, but some features will only work on Android 4.3 and later.
