Indian OEM XOLO has just released the Q900T Android smartphone in the country and is now readying another affordable handset, which has yet to be made official.

The unannounced XOLO Q1000B has been recently spotted in benchmarks by the folks over at AndroidNova and judging by its specs sheet, it looks like another mid-range Android smartphone.

According to GFXBench app listing, the Q1000B is equipped with a quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz, which is provided by Broadcom. It also comes with 1GB of RAM, which makes a nice addition to the phone’s decent hardware specs.

On the back, XOLO Q1000B will be packed with a 5-megapixel photo snapper, while in the front, there will be a VGA camera for video calls.

Unfortunately, the smartphone will ship with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box, though there’s a chance that XOLO will offer an upgrade to KitKat later this year.

XOLO Q1000B sports a 4.5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display that supports 480 x 854 pixels resolution. No word on when exactly the smartphone will be announced, but we suspect that the Q1000B will be priced under Rs 10,000 ($165 / €120). Stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
