Android gamers rejoice, as one of their favorite arcade games Plants vs. Zombies 2 has just received a major update that brings new content meant to keep you entertained for more hours.

First of all, developers announced the latest update was also meant to add a little polish to improve game stability, so long-time players should notice a much-smoother gameplay after applying the update.

Hopefully, the new update won’t break any new features because the official changelog mentions there are lots of “cool new features and fun to be found” in the latest version of Plants vs. Zombies 2.

Now back to the more juicy stuff. The update brings new St. Paddy's Day Party levels. No word on how many new levels EA has added to Plants vs. Zombies 2, but it should be plenty of new stuff to keep you entertained until the next major update.

But that is not all. According to developer, the new update also includes some new Piñata Party levels where players take on zombies from all worlds. Again, there’s no clue on how many new levels have been added.

Those who already have the game installed should check Google Play Store for the update, whereas new players can now download Plants vs. Zombies 2 for Android 2.0.1 free of charge via Softpedia. Keep in mind that the game should be compatible with most devices powered by Android 2.3 and up.
