Microsoft has just updated its PDF Reader application for Windows Phone platform with new features and improvements.

According to the official changelog, this update does not contain any bug fixes, instead developers have focused on bringing lots of new features into the mix.

For example, users will now be able to manage PDFs in the history list so they can remove individual files and also clear the whole list.

In addition, a new option that allows users to share PDF documents with others directly from the app using their SkyDrive account has been added as well.

Last but not least, support for encrypted PDF files that are password protected and support for read-only PDF files has also been included.

PDF Reader 1.1.0.0 is now available as a free download via Windows Phone Store and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Windows Phone 8. Check it out here.
