Good news for Windows Phone fans who are already taking advantage of OneDrive, Microsoft's cloud service, as developers have just announced that a new update is now available for download.

Although the application for Windows Phone devices did not receive too many new features, at least Microsoft is adding them pretty frequently.

In fact, this is the second update that OneDrive for Windows Phone receives in just one week, and we expect Microsoft to continue to add new features and improvements on a regular basis.

The latest update that's been uploaded to Windows Phone Store brings one important new feature and that's the option to open files from OneDrive in other applications.

Aside from that, Microsoft has also confirmed that the update adds a number of bug fixes and performance improvements, but no additional details have been offered on any of these.

Those who already have OneDrive installed on their device should check for the update, while new users can now download OneDrive for Windows Phone 4.1.3 for free via Windows Phone Store.

The application has been confirmed to work on all devices powered by Windows Phone 7.5 and up (including Windows Phone 8.1). Stay tuned for more future OneDrive updates for Windows Phone devices.
