Glu Mobile has just released the official Robocop game for Android platform. As expected, the game is free to play, but you will also be given the option to purchase extra items for real life money.

Robocop is an action game where players will have to shoot their way through the corrupt streets of Detroit where they will meet human crooks and robot enemies.

You will be able to use drones to dispatch larger groups of enemies. Speaking of enemies, developers confirmed they have added robot enemies appearing in the original movie, like the EM-208 and the ED-209.

As Robocop, players can upgrade weapons and the robotic suit to the latest technology Omnicorp has to offer. The console-like controls are also another strong point of the game.

You can download RoboCop for Android for free via Google Play Store. The game should be fully compatible with most devices powered by Android 2.1 and up.
