Owners of Windows Phone-based devices interested in keeping an eye on this year’s Mobile World Congress can now do so straight from their mobile phones, as the official MWC application has been launched for them.

The software was designed as a guide for those who will be present on the floor at the trade show, since it will deliver information on launches and events at the tip of their fingers.

The mobile application was released with features such as full event schedule, speaker listings and exhibitor listing, complete info booth, and more. The app also comes to Windows Phone with social networking capabilities.

The development team behind the app focused on making it great for use while offline and abroad as well. However, some of its features, including messaging and Twitter, may incur charges depending on users’ carrier and plan.
