This is not suitable for daily use unless some of its issues are ironed out

HTC confirmed last year that some of its high-end devices would be getting the highly-acclaimed Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade sometime this year. HTC Rezound will be among the first smartphones to receive the Android 4.0 update in Q1 2012.

In this regard, it appears that the RootzWiki forum user MrLeaks managed to grab an official Ice Cream Sandwich ROM for the HTC Rezound and made it publicly available for download here.

Although this is an early build of Ice Cream Sandwich, HTC Rezound owners who flashed it confirm that their devices are now faster and smoother than the stock version of Gingerbread.

Unfortunately, the ROM reboots the phone pretty frequently, especially when trying to use certain functions of the phone, such as taking screenshots or making calls.

There’s also a big ‘HTC confidential’ watermark across the entire screen, so everywhere you go in the menu, the watermark will the first to see. Still, if a ROM dev corrected some of these issues, the ROM would be suitable for daily use.
