Following the official unveiling of the new Moto G smartphone from Motorola, carriers around the world started to confirm the device’s availability on their networks, and O2 was one of them.

The operator unveiled plans to have the new smartphone up for grabs starting with November 27 on a Pay & Go basis, with a price tag of only £129.99 ($207 / €154) attached to it.

The new handset comes to the market with powerful capabilities packed inside, but does not require for users to pay premium to enjoy them.

Moto G, powered by a quad-core processor and featuring Android 4.3 Jelly Bean on top (an update to Android 4.4 KitKat will arrive in January next year), also marks the return of Motorola devices on O2 UK’s network.

“With the Moto G, Motorola are definitely back with a bang,” said David Johnson, general manager Devices for O2 in the UK.
