Although official word is that HTC Windows Phone 8X will hit shelves on November 5, it appears that at least one European carrier will offer the device a bit earlier.

O2 Germany has just confirmed that HTC’s Windows Phone flagship handset will be available for purchase from late October.

Nokia Lumia 920 is expected to arrive on the market around the same timeframe, which puts HTC under pressure, as the company has big plans for its Windows Phone range of devices.

So far, we’ve been unable to learn when exactly O2 Germany plans to release the HTC Windows Phone 8X, but we expect more details to emerge in the following days.

Hopefully, the carrier will announce the phone’s pricing options as well, so stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
