Owners of Windows Phone devices can now download and install a new interesting application on their devices, namely Notifications, which should replace the missing notifications center from the platform.

The app was made available through the Windows Phone Store today, and can be seen on this page, listed as available for both Windows Phone 8 and Windows Phone 7.5 devices.

Users interested in taking the app for a spin should know that it requires an external PC to work. In fact, the PC is needed for configuration purposes, since users need to run a Notifications Server on it, as unleashthephones notes in a recent post.

The app is available for purchase at $2.99, yet there is also a trial version available, should users be interested in learning how it performs before making a purchase.
