Sony Xperia Z owners in North America will be pleased to know that the Japanese handset maker has a few minor updates in the pipeline, which will be deployed in the coming days.

According to XperiaBlog, Sony Xperia Z (C66X6), the North American variant of the smartphone, will probably receive one or more small updates very soon.

Firmware versions 10.4.C.0.800 and 10.4.C.0.808 recently received certifications at PTCRB, but they have yet to be pushed to Xperia Z.

Unfortunately, there’s no way we can tell what changes either of the two updates will bring to Sony Xperia Z, but we suspect there will be some bug fixes and minor improvements.

Given the small increment in version number, the updates aren’t expected to contain any new major features, but anything is possible.

It’s unclear whether or not Sony plans to push both updates live or the second update was meant to fix some small issues that got inside without anyone noticing it initially.

We also don’t know if any of these updates will be released for Sony Xperia Z anytime soon, but we will keep an eye out for any additional info on the matter. What fixes would you want these updates to address?
