Microsoft’s Windows Phone operating system is the second mobile OS in Latin America, some of the latest reports on the matter claim, and Nokia appears set to cash in on that.

The company is getting ready for the release of two new handsets in the region, namely the Nokia Lumia 925 and Lumia 625, and has already added them to its regional websites with a “coming soon” tag next to them, as WMPoweruser notes.

Apparently, users in Mexico, Colombia and Peru will be able to grab the two smartphones in the not too distant future, though no official info on when that should happen has been provided as of now.

Earlier this month, Nokia made these two Windows Phone 8 smartphones available for purchase in India too, and appears set to push them to as many regions as possible.
