Nokia’s Lumia smartphones are expected to receive a new set of features in the not too distant future, based on hover interaction.

According to a recent post on NokiaPowerUser, the Finnish company might be set to provide users with hover-based text and/or object enlargement capabilities.

Furthermore, the company might be planning the inclusion of other UI interaction features to its Lumia devices, including the handling of text input and more.

Nokia has already included some hover interactions in its latest software update for Windows Phone handsets, aimed mainly at the Glance Screen (where the display can be turned on to show the time and battery status).

However, it remains to be seen how the phone maker will expand the functionality and whether it will affect the battery life of devices or not, as Pocketnow notes.
