Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia and Redmond-based software giant Microsoft are working together on something new for their fans, and should make everything official in a matter of weeks, it seems.

Speaking at the press briefing regarding Lumia 925’s launch in the UK, Nokia UK's Ray Haddow said that Nokia and Microsoft were working very close on something, and that all will be unveiled soon.

No specific info on the matter has been provided as of now, but chances are that the two were working together on some software enhancements for Lumias, Engadget notes.

Furthermore, the news site claims that the tight collaboration between the two companies might also refer to the marketing of Windows Phone, which could focus on Nokia’s smartphones. More info should emerge soon, so stay tuned.
