Millions of mobile phone users out there are already accustomed to one of the most popular photo sharing services available for them, namely Instagram, and it seems that the owners of Nokia X devices can also enjoy its capabilities.

Microsoft has decided to tease the availability of Instagram for Nokia X devices via the Nokia Store, while also sharing some info on what the app and service are all about.

Those who will decide to grab the app will have to register with Instagram or sign in with an existing account or with Twitter or Facebook, and then they will be good to go when it comes to sharing their photos.

And since one of the most appealing features of Instagram is the possibility to add various filters to photos, Nokia X users can do that as well. Sharing short videos with other instagramers out there is also possible.

Moreover, the application arrived on this Android handset with Direct Messaging, so that users can share photos and videos privately.

“Of course, if you’d like to share your photos privately between you and a select group of people, there’s the option to make your account private,” a recent post on Nokia Conversations explains.

Nokia X (Nokia X+ and Nokia XL) users out there interested in the app should open the Nokia Store on their phones to grab it today. It is free for download and use.
