Following the launch of Nokia Music and Nokia Reading services, the Finnish handset vendor confirms the upcoming availability of a new service, Nokia TV.

The new TV service will be available for Nokia’s Lumia smartphones. It will make its debut in Finland in the coming weeks. The company has yet to detail the service’s global availability, but we can assume that, if successful, it will be rolled out in other regions as well.

Once the service goes live, Nokia Lumia owners living in Finland will be able to browse or search through the available catalogues of TV services from major local broadcasters and then stream them directly to their phones.

More importantly, Nokia TV does not require any sign up or registration and will be available as a free signature hub on the Lumia smartphones. Stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
