Today, Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia released a major update for its Nokia Music application for Lumia devices, operating a branding name to it, as the software is now called Nokia MixRadio.

The new application release comes with the same features and capabilities as the older mobile client for Windows Phone 8 Lumias, but also adds some novelties to the package.

Thus, users will enjoy a Play Me function now, which comes as a personalized mix inspired by their unique music profiles, and there are also Thumbs up / Thumbs down rating options to help refine users’ music preferences.

Furthermore, the app provides users with the possibility to share mixes with their friends over Facebook, Twitter, or by email and SMS, and there are also a variety of bug fixes that make the overall experience with the app much better.

The same as its predecessor, the Nokia MixRadio app is available exclusively for Lumia handsets, and can be found in Nokia Collection in the Windows Phone Store.
